to be or not to be.

"a smugly ignorant person with no appreciation of intellectual or artistic matters."

while having dinner last night, a friend of mine pointed out how repelled we both are by people with no interests whatsoever. we discussed about how his irish friend was once told something like: "you should have been born with a little less intelligence, and these problems would no longer matter." by her mother.
i'm getting really aggravated when i'm at school and people in my class start debating about nonsense and we waste a lot of time in stuff we are not supposed to talk about. this has been an issue to me before in my previous program because we were a small group and people would interact a lot with each other. but there's nothing more annoying than students who consistently try to stand out in class and never stop giving their opinion based on their experience. ugh. my brains just can't take it.
going back to school after so long brought the best/worst in me. everything would be better if some of those philistines would just shut their mouth and stop complaining about everything the teacher says. also, there's lots of frustrated moms and old ladies who thought my program would save them from their boring life.

disclaimer - sorry, i don't wanna sound like one of them, but they seriously pissed me off today. i just want to express my strong dissatisfaction and, ultimately, this is my blog and i post whatever i want.
